They are the top social network sites and they can connect you with people across the globe. You may be using them now but it's likely that you're not using them to their maximum potential. This class will take you from a novice to an advanced user. Whether it's to connect with people with similar interests or to build your business, this is the way to maximize your social networking experience for a minimum price (generally free). Topics include: Twitter techniques and tips, Linkedin business to business networking, partnership website integration, using online applications, starting and promoting Facebook groups and pages, identifying spambots, communicating offline, online presentations and virtual meetings. (Please check events calendar for upcoming class dates) Using Twitter In this session, you will learn how to: create a Twitter home page, get started with Twitter, customize your Twitter background, monitor the Tweets, business-building Tweets, reTweeting, who should you follow?, create lists, use Twitter directories, use hashtags, integrate Twitter and Facebook and use Tweetdeck. Understanding How to Use LinkedIn for Social Networking If you know the "tricks," you can use the LinkedIn Social Network to connect to your contacts and exchange knowledge, ideas, and opportunities with a broader network. Among the things you will learn is how to send a message to your connections, in mail if you are not connected, add a user to your network, write a recommendation for your connection, request a recommendation from your connections, have a common connection introduce you, post questions, apply for jobs, download vcards, join groups, post events, integrate Twitter and use various applications. NOTE: To participate fully in this class you must have a WIFI ready computer and an Active LinkedIn username and password. Hands-on Email Marketing Development Training (Constant Contact) Connect to and inform your clients and grow your business. In this hands-on class being offered in conjunction with Constant Contact, learn how to set-up an account, set email display and signature information, create website signup link, create a “forward to a friend” email button, create a welcome letter for new registrants. Develop an understanding of reporting analysis (opens, bounces, unsubscribes), learn about template creation and branding, the selection of appropriate template(s), font selection, customization of selected email campaign formats using color schemes, branding, logos, and URLS. Learn about campaign execution, email content development, including subject line, permission reminder, image loading and resizing, email scheduling and sending.
